Driver - Consignment

Receive materials and delivery documents from warehouse.  Arrange materials in the vehicle for delivery and deliver to various locations.

Determine efficient routes and drive safely adhering to traffic laws and maintaining safe driving record.   

Record deliveries in driver delivery schedule and submit on daily basis.  Obtain signature and stamp in the invoice / delivery document and submit to warehouse.

Responsible for the prompt delivery of items with controlled temperature where applicable. 

Responsible for transfer of equipment and instruments from customer location as required.

Responsible for emergency and unplanned deliveries outside regular working hours & urgent call outs in high pressure condition with precision and punctuality.

Responsible for loaner items collection, transfer and return to warehouse or deliver to customer as per requirement.

Help in preparing orders and barcoding. 

Helps maintain physical inventory counts of consignment items. 

Maintain the vehicle in good condition (check engine oil, air, etc.)

Collect accurate cash and cheques from customers and give to the accounts on a daily basis.

Maintain pleasant and friendly relations with the customers.

Report to the stores controller and warehouse keeper regarding the daily operations.
